Wish I had gotten that notice a little earlier..... I drove down there, got to the field at 10:30, found Brian's "frame" with the orange tie downs, and sat out there in my car for a little over an hour... and then gave up and came home. Didn't see a single human at the site, although I got a close-up look at all the launch pads. Well, maybe next year.
Sorry to hear that you made that long trek. Red Glare's attendees were told on Friday that there would be a decision on flying by 8:30 Saturday morning. The decision was made well before 8:00 and posted on the MDRA site and the MDRA Facebook page.
I hope your drive to and from wasn't affected by the storms that came through yesterday. Storms came through Jackson while many were seated for dinner last evening. My town is in chaos but, oddly, there's still electric service and internet service in my home. How do I know? I'm writing here. 😉
Good luck with/at the CENJARS launch today. I hope that the launch site it OK after the storms.
