IF/WHEN you build a motor, build it completely. That small amount of black powder in the the aft won't mean a thing. You can buy single-use motors and some high power reloadable motors with their ejection canisters full of black powder. In the frenzy of a launch, it's just one more stupid error that you can easily avoid.
