Wall Kid's Day America event
Quote from Eric Becher on September 12, 2026, 12:39 pmWall Township (where we launch) is holding their annual "Kid's Day America" event on Saturday the 19th (rain date 20th). It is not far from where we fly from. Their flyer is posted below.
This is a fun, FREE event for kids and the community. They have lots to do for kids, and there is information about various activities and organizations around the area. CENJARS typically attends and we set up a display of rockets, and run demonstrations for the public. We show them the basics of the rocketry hobby, and launch some probes and small rockets for them to see. (The Library lawn is small, so we can't go too high) We meet and greet lots of great folks, and some will come to our monthly launches, and/or get involved with CENJARS.
We could always use some help! If you can, come out to lend a hand, and maybe display some of your rockets that folks may enjoy seeing. CENJARS will supply the motors and demo rockets, but we can use a hand loading, recovering, and talking to folks. It is always a lot of fun.
And you can bring the rest of the family to attend the event, or help out too!
