Scheduled launch March 29, 2026
Good morning CENJARS,
The weather is looking promising for yet another launch this month. Sunday, March 29, 2026 should see clear skies with temps in the low to mid 50ºF. Winds, currently, are forecast to be coming out of the south. This may mean setup at the back, southern most extent, of the upper soccer and baseball fields. Please come out and help to get the launch equipment to the back of the facility.
Charlie and Eric will be handling this launch as I am away in Boston until next week. This launch is primarily to support those ARC teams still needing to launch their qualification flights but it does not preclude our regular membership from flying too.
FYI, the NAR insurance certificates were received this week. I will be submitting them to the Wall BoE for approval for the facility from April through August. For those not in the know, the NAR insurance coverage is for one year from April 1st through the subsequent year's March 31st. However, the Wall School district's fiscal year is September 1st through August 31st. Thus, two times a year, I need to refile for our use of the facility. Happily, this past year, Wall School district joined the 21st Century and they have now implemented an online system which simplifies requests for the school's various facilities.
Have fun and I'll see you at our next launch which will not be April 5th but April 12 so as not to encumber anyone's Easter celebration.
12 th or 19 th ?
We found out that the school has allowed another event to reserve the field on the 12th. Brian has requested the field for the 19th, but I believe we are still awaiting confirmation of that date.

Eric is correct. To add, the Wall schools will be closed this coming week for spring break. All of the administration will be in Ft. Lauderdale for alcohol and debauchery. I might not get approval for another week.
