Scheduled Launch June 2026
Attention CENJARS,
It's time, once again, for our scheduled monthly launch. Sunday, June 7, is our monthly launch. The weather forecast earlier this week did not bode well but the forecasts have turned to more favorable. Yeah! For those that attended NSL East in Geneseo, NY over the Memorial Day weekend, we have seen enough rain threatening rocket launches. Let's hope that the rest of the summer launch season will not be threatened by rain!
Sunday will be warm in the mid-80ºFs and winds from the NW. If you have a popup tent or other sun shade, you are being advised to bring it to the launch.
I'm fairly certain that Joe — RocketShip Games — will not be attending this launch, so be sure you have motors to fly because you won't be purchasing any at this launch.
I was scheduled for surgery today (Friday, June 5) but that surgery was canceled. I don't know when it will be rescheduled but, for now, I will be able to get around on the field. I was thinking I'd have to be rather sedentary as I would have been barely 2 days from the surgery.
As usual, setup and teardown help is greatly appreciated and requested.
