March Scheduled Launches!
Great new for my fellow CENJARS rocketeers!
I submitted requests for use of the Complex where we fly for the next four Sundays in March. This request was approved, so I have added March 8, March 15, March 22 and March 29 to our Calendar. This should be welcomed news after the cancelation of both the February and March launch due to the weather. I know everyone is itching to get their rockets into the air and, especially, the ARC teams which have come out to CENJARS launches to fly and do their qualification flight.
This Sunday, March 8, there are temps forecast to be 70ºF too but I am watching cautiously as there is a probability of precipitation. Keep your fingers crossed. If you're an ARC team, plan to come out to all of these launches but get your qualification flights in ASAP as you can't depends upon favorable weather for these dates.
I'll be unavailable for the March 29 launch as I will be in Boston for a week. Don't fret, other CENJARS officers will handle the launch in my absence. I'm also a bit weary of the 15th for fear of backstabbers. 😜 Beware the Ides of March.
