March Scheduled Launch
Quote from Admin on February 27, 2026, 4:09 pmCENJARS,
Sunday, March 1st, should be our scheduled monthly launch; however, due to the field's conditions, I am going to scrub our launch. I know you are all itching to get out and fly, but Mother Nature and Old Man Winter have had other designs for us. Fear not! I have requested the complex for our use for every remaining Sunday in March. As soon as I get the OK from the Wall School District, I will update our Calendar on the website.
The snow is melting but certainly not fast enough to clear the complex for Sunday even with temperatures forecast to be near or above 50ºF tomorrow. The weather forecast for Sunday is also questionable.
If the weather is in our favor for the rest of March, the ARC groups should be able to get their qualification flights in. March is known as the windy month, so keep that in mind if/when we get to launch again. This winter's weather is one of the reasons we urge ARC teams to get out early and fly often. We're all victims of our Northeast US locale and its weather.
Respectfully,

Can it be inferred there could be more than one March Launch?

Yes, it can be inferred!
Charlie has been in contact with the ARCsters and they requested multiple launches. If nobody is using the complex on those Sundays, why wouldn't we? I can make all of the dates save for the 29th as I will be in "Bahzton" for a week.
Now, I need NAR to send out our Insurance Certificates so that I can sign us up for April through August for use of the Complex.
