March 8 Scheduled Launch
Heads up CENJARS,
Tomorrow is the first of four additional launch days for which I requested the Complex for our use. The weather is iffy; nonetheless less, our club officers and I are remaining cautiously optimistic. There could be some light precipitation, so plan to bring something to cover your rockets, motors and other items at the field to keep all dry should there be a brief shower.
ARC teams, this is for you! Make the most of it! Be ready to fly when you get to the field. The skies will be gray with low ceiling, so you will need to have several sets of good eyes on your flights!
Despite the possible precipitation, the temperatures will be in the mid-60ºF. We also welcome the first day of daylight savings time, so there will be extended daylight per the adjusted clock.
I'm planning on being there tomorrow. Given the weather I'll probably bring less stuff than usual, so let me know if there's a kit you're dying to get because you don't have enough rockets! I will however have my usual full collection of motors and other essentials on hand.
