Does anyone have experience 3d printing nose cones in 2 pieces? I know Manav has done it before. I need to do so for my l1 rocket (I will test it before launch). I need help with a coupler so i can epoxy the 2 parts together. Thanks!

I can't really make out what you want from that graphic. However, I'd suggest you look into printing with ASA and then you can fuse the parts together with acetone. Solvent welds will prove stronger than epoxying plastics which epoxy really won't adhere to well.

Quote from Admin on October 25, 2026, 9:56 pmAs long as your head will heat to 300ºC, you should be able to print ASA and ABS. Steer clear of ABS if you can due to the chemicals from heating it. You need really good/proper ventilation for ABS.
