I think epoxy is the better way to go and it cleans up easily with isopropanol which should not affect the foam.

Rocket 🚀 people do actual testing

the results are in, so far epoxy wins

i tried plastic model cement, CA, epoxy and no glue (control)

the deterioration from the 2 glues reminds me of the acid blood from the alien movies
