I just looked at the Marco Polo system online. Looks pretty good, but not cheap at $300 for one transmitter and receiver. But then again, I haven't seen many others that don't require electronics assembly and programming, which are not my strong suits. I will have to consider it for the spring big launches we have coming up.

As for my drone camera, if I were to do it, I would just take the whole board and camera out of the drone. Everything but the motors. That way I can control the camera via remote control (but not view until downloading). Wouldn't work for small rockets, but could for 3" Dia. or more. But that sounds like a lot of work, so I'll probably just leave it alone.
