November 2024 Scheduled Launch

It's time for the November scheduled launch. This months launch is November 3rd, the first day of the return the eastern standard time. This means, the available daylight will be limited. I will ask to see if we can get enough interested to do another early start. Keep checking the main page for the launch time.
November is also election time, not only for occupants of the White House but also for CENJARS officers. We will take a break at the launch to hold elections. If you'd like to, run for a position.
We had a great October launch. Let's make this one just as memorable.
The weather for Sunday is looking great with low 60ºF temps and low winds out of the West/Northwest. We should be setting up along the western side of the field, next to the baseball field.
I've also been contacted by a number of school/ARC teams in the past month. Please consider lending a hand to guide them should they come to the launch.
Also, I have been asked to administer two tests — a Jr. L1 and an L2 test. This may keep me from LCO for a while, so please step up and push the buttons.

We are coming this month. What do you mean by starting early? We can probably come early and help out.
For the October launch we were able to get set up around 10:30am. That would depend upon getting the gear to the field early, and a few hands to help set it up.

Launch time is normally 12:30. I'd like to start 11:00 or earlier.
Roger.... To be there @ 11am I have to leave by 10am, means getting up at 8am -- because I need 30 minutes to get the car packed. All while losing an hour of sleep.... or am I gaining an hour of sleep? I can never keep that straight. Well, something is happening at 2am. Fall back..... That would mean 2am happens twice, so I am gaining an hour of sleep?
Spring forward, fall back. So you're getting extra sleep.
I'll expect you to be early since you won't be able to sleep late anyway. 😁
18th Ave is freshly paved so bring those rocket cars!! 😉

I need to visit another launch. Attempt a few more 128MPH launches in on Kingda Ka before I can't do that anymore!! 😥
