March 2025 Scheduled Launch
Greetings CENJARS,
I have some good news for you and I have some not so good news. Good news first? Why not.
The good news is that it’s time again for our scheduled monthly launch! Now, the not so good news. Despite a week of rather early spring-like temperatures, old man winter will once again be joining us for this launch. Be sure to dress appropriately for the time out in the cold.
March, the windy month, has the St. Patrick’s Day holiday when everyone is Irish for a day. As such, CENJARS is holding a contest and, as its prize, our club directors have reached out to our local Leprechaun Paddy O’Furniture for Pot-of-Gold! For details, please see read the Contest details posted in the CENJARS forum.
Also, because of the encroaching deadline for ARC, we are anticipating more ARC fliers for this launch and our next launch. If you are an ARC team or a member thereof, please read Charlie’s post with respect to rules for the conduct of ARC teams participating at our launch. To help expedite ARC team launches at out launch, we will have a separate setup for the ARC teams. This should off-load the demand for the pads used by our other, non-ARC team, CENJARS members.
As always, please be sure the check the CENJARS website Sunday mornings for the latest launch status! We may begin this launch earlier than our usual 12:30pm time. If there are enough people to help transport the launch kit to the field, I’ll update the launch time on the main page. Also, my granddaughter’s birthday party, a dinner party, is being help Sunday as well. I will likely need to leave the field by 5:00pm, so your help to put away the launch equipment will be greatly appreciated!
