Greetings CENJARS!
For the first time this year/launch season, I have not had trepidation about announcing the monthly scheduled launch due to wildly different and ever changing weather forecasts! Sunday, 1 June, is looking fine for our monthly launch. It will be cool for a June launch but it will be sunny and dry! Hooray! Winds are forecast from the west, so we'll setup close to the parking lot and next to the baseball field. Let's all hope that this will be the start of a better flying season.
This launch will feature the events, costumed characters, etc. planned for the May launch. While we did hold a make-up May launch, it was poorly attended; thus, the May planned fatuity will be incorporated into this June launch.
Do make the most of this launch! After all of the abysmal weather this year to date, this launch should allow you to get those rockets, new and old, into the air!
