JANUARY 2025 RESCHEDULED LAUNCH
Happy New Year CENJARS!
CENJARS launch last week was canceled because of forecasted temps and winds. I, personally, didn't see the winds peak anywhere near the forecasted speeds but it was too late to try to hold a launch.
I've received the OK from the Wall High School to use the Athletic Field Complex for a launch this weekend, January 12, 2025. The forecasted temperatures should be in the low 40ºF range and the winds low from the northwest and west. We'll setup near the baseball field because of the wind direction. Dress accordingly! Considering how long we're all standing outside in the elements, even 40ºF will feel cold.
One again, as a reminder, it’s the new year! If you haven’t yet renewed your CENJARS membership, please consider doing so at this launch on Sunday. Printout your membership application and bring cash — exact change too if you can — to make it easier on Eric when he processes your membership. Checks are accepted too. Make checks payable to CENJARS.

I believe Charlie will drop off the gear at 12:00, then he'll head out for a meeting. So someone should be there at noon to help him and mind the gear until others show up.
I'll be there before noon. Anyone that wants to help with setup can join me there/then.
I'll be there today, but a bit late: Comin' in hot at 1:30.
It was very good weather for launch.
