January 2025 Launch Scrubbed!
Quote from Admin on January 5, 2025, 7:57 amATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!!
Today's (Sunday, January 5, 2025) launch is being scrubbed due to forecasted wind speeds at the launch site. These winds would cause many rockets, if not properly configured for the winds, to drift off of the field. These winds will also compound with the low temperatures to create an unpleasant wind chill.
There is a forecast of snow in the coming week too, so we'll need to watch the extended forecasts for a make-up date.
Sorry for the late notice but this is weather which is not an exacting science unlike rocket science!
