Great news CENJARS fliers, it's time again for our scheduled monthly launch!

The weather forecast are for a truly delightful day for the launch. Temps maxing out at 80ºF and low winds from the north changing to from the east as the day progresses. There should me beautiful clear skies with plenty of sun. Bring your sun tent popups and or sunscreen.

This launch is also the club picnic. This is a potluck picnic event and relies on you, our member to bring something — foods,,drinks, snacks, or desserts — to share with the CENJARS family. There's been a signup form on the website showing the food items we already have in the queue, and you can can add your name there and an item. Bring a favorite homemade item or something you can purchase, it doesn't matter.

Our on-site vendor RocketshipGames should be with us again too. Make Joe's trip to our launch worth his while and stock up on your rocketry needs such as kits, motors and sundry other supplies.

Also, if you are not yet aware, I, your poobah, had a rather nasty accident about 10 days ago involving my table saw and my left index finger. The finger is intact but not presently usable due to the surgical repair which included inserting two steel pins through the index finger to hold the middle phalange, which I sawed through, together. Setup and teardown help will certainly be welcomed as I can only lift with one hand.

I should be at the field by 11:00 Sunday. We need to setup for both the launch and the picnic.
