July Launch Report

As reported by Jon Henbest:

CENJARS July 2017 Launch Report

The weather was beautiful.  Sunny and dry.  The winds did increase as the day went on, but we were able to enjoy 37 launches.  Many families joined us and showed their patriotism with red, white & blue rockets.  Please keep spreading the word so more can join the fun!

With the winds increasing as the temperatures rose, most chose lower powered motors.  One rocket was lost and another had a catastrophic failure, hitting the parking lot at high velocity.  A nice two-stage rocket was launched successfully, and a very tall rocket with a three motor cluster had a successful launch. Launch totals for the day included:

14 – A motors
8 – B motors
9 – C motors
6 – D motors
0 – E motors
0 – F motors
0 – G motors

Join us on August 6th for our next launch day.  In the meantime, keep safe and building more rockets!  Hope for more good weather and calm skies so we can enjoy more launches.
