CENJARS September 2018 Launch report

CENJARS September 2018 Launch Report
Back-to-school and Back-to-Rockets! What an amazing turnout on Sunday, September 2nd! Our good luck with the weather continued this summer as the winds were light and the temperatures warm. Keep your fingers-crossed that the good weather continues into the Autumn for our coming launch days. With the wind direction, everyone had to hike a bit to get to the launchpad from their cars, but it was worth the trip. Very nice welcome to Troop 50 from Toms River and the many others that joined us.
We had a record breaking 112 flights using 117 motors and lots of great fun. Totals by motors are below:
34 – A motors
36 – B motors
26 – C motors
13 – D motors
6 – E motors
2 – F motor
0 – G motors
Join us on October 7th for our next club launch and consider assisting CENJARS at the annual Wall Township Kid’s Day on September 22 from 10am – 2pm at the Wall Township municipal complex. Each year we attend this community event, display many rockets, perform some small launches, and build some rockets. It is a fun day to show others model rocketry. Please let Charlie know if you are able to help with supporting the community that supports us (remember we get free use of the Wall High School athletic fields).
